Sunday 15th August open match was fished in warm and cloudy conditions.Fishing was hard due to previous heavy rain and hailstones.

Scunthorpe's Andy Waite had a big carp on when the final whistle blew, unfortunately after a long struggle it pulled out.

Sunday's open was held on the Roadside lake. This lake contains small silver fish and some carp.Todays match was not helped by a farmer deciding to combine a field of rape next to the lake. More than one angler said they did'nt get a bite once the big machine started working.

Junior Open on Roadside Lake. Saturday July 31st. A smaller turn out than normal due to holidays but still some excited juniors hoping they can win one of excellent prizes on offer. For the third match running, Sam Feane won the 12's and under group. The 13-16 group was won by Connor Adams.

Tonights open was fished on the Roadside Lake. The weather was cool and breezy.

Nearly all fish caught on pole and pellet.

Todays Open was fished on the Laneside lake. The weather was somewhat cooler than the previous day. Fishing off peg 22, crack angler Paul Wright took the honours with 32-4 of carp,bream and tench. In second place was Brian Clark with 22-8 off peg 24. Neil Goulding took third spot off peg 28 with 17-9.
